I guess for anybody who still has an iPhone SE or 6S/6S Plus this may make some sort of sense since these phones still have a 3.5mm headset port. For the iPhone 7 you would have to unplug this thing each time you want to use a wired headset and for the iPhone 8 and up it makes little sense since you can charge them wirelessly anyways on a charging pad or stand and while I haven’t looked up pricing for these magnetic cables I assume a basic wireless charging pad from Amazon is about the same or at least not a lot more.

There's a very small part of the cable that plugs into the phone and it barely sticks out of the phone.
