Among other restrictions imposed by Apple’s “walled garden” approach this is however one of the things which has made iOS so secure and difficult to hack. And they are finding ways to facilitate tasks by adding what one might call very well-guarded doors and windows into the wall which allows for things you want to get in to get in.

OK, so there are other applications which can do it instead of iTunes like Waltr 2, iMazing and so on, but that’s an entirely different subject. Let’s hope Apple will lift this restriction at some point since they are now going to make it much easier to get files to your device from external sources at least in the upcoming new iPadOS. The only choices for moving the attached file is to move it to another mailbox. Is there anyway, to search for the file in the phone, and have more choices in moving it to the ringtone folder or if there's away to search from the ringtone folder?
