Hi!
For the past many years, I have been using the native reminders app in the
iPhone to remind me about my pills. I take about 10 pills a day! And it works
very well.
I can even tell Siri to add a reminder!
At sometime, I have to take four pills together, so I use one reminder
mentioning the names of all the four bills and set it for every day!
What will be the advantage of this application over the native reminders app? I
wonder 🤔

Hello Arlene,

Keep in mind that adding a medication to the app and creating a reminder as to
when to takethat medication are two separate actions.

So, one you add a particular medication, all you need do is to select the done
button located near the upper right corner of the display.

The next step will be to open the reminders section of the app and from there,
you will select the name of the medication that you added in the previous step.
Fill in the reminder preferences and remember to activate the Save button,
located near the upper right corner of the display.

Now, close the app. This is to say, remove it from active memory. It is not
necessary to do this, on a normal basis, but in order for me to be certain that
you see what I want you to see, it is best that you do so.

Now, when you reopen the app, you will see your newly added reminder.

Mark

Mark,we really love this pill reminder app. We need a bit of help with it.
We can't get the reminder we created to save completely. It lets us know that
we need to add the medication of which we did. On each item of setting up the
reminder, the dosage, the pill name, how often you take it and other things you
need to fill out, do you need to save on each of those things, besides tapping
on the done button? It doesn't seem to work. We're probably missing something,
and at that could be something so simple to make it work. And that's it it's
so completely accessible and even though we haven't quite got this figured out
it seems very easy. So thanks for some guidance with this, and thank you, for
telling us about such a great and useful app you found.

Arlene And Wayne

Accessible

Hello Everyone,

I found this incredibly VoiceOver accessible pill reminder app.

The app works just as described in its description. The developer even
mentions VoiceOver in his description. Those of you with Apple watches are
going to love this app, especially if you have silent reminders enabled.

Now there is one VoiceOver glitch that you will encounter only when you have no
data in the app. I suspect that this is why the developer has not caught it
because once you have any data in the app, whatsoever, the glitch goes away,
completely.

So, when you first launch the app, you will be prompted to allow notifications.
No problem there. Once you reach the default screen, the
display tells you that you have no data in the app, Touching the center of
the screen, while voiceover is enabled, causes the app to crash. This is the
same on iPad. On iPhone, the buttons to use the app are located on the bottom
row of the display. On iPad, these buttons are located down the left side of
the display.

Simply activate any of these buttons, for example, select the reminders, tab,
enter even a temporary medicine name, and the empty screen message goes away
and all is perfect.

I know this sounds kind of weird but do not let that small glitch stop you from
downloading the free version of the app. By the way, for the full version, you
must pay $1.99, inside the app.

Please notify the developer about the VoiceOver glitch and I’m certain he will
fix this.

After my signature, you will find the app description. Next, I will paste in
the direct URL to the website for this app so that you can more easily contact
the developer.

Finally, I will paste in the URL to the app, in the App Store.

Okay, good luck and enjoy. If you need any help getting this app up and
running, let me know, on-list, and I’ll do my best to assist you.

Mark
