Hi, Kathy.
It annoyed me too in the beginning but I found a work around. When that
happens, I put my finger in the middle of the screen but do it without any
pressure on the screen, just a very very light touch with my finger-tip and
then swipe down with two fingers and the reading resumes from there.
Thanks!

Subject: Help with native Twitter app

I am dismayed at what’s happening with it: I just want to be able to read my
tweets for as long as I want to without getting prompted every minute it seems
about “see what’s live“. I liked that after I read a certain amount of tweets,
that I could hit new tweets for as many times as I wanted until I got tired of
reading. I like the sea latest tweets, rather than the home thing, which I
understand how to switch, but this see what’s live is really getting in the
way. Who do I complain to about this? Also, it’s not intuitive that you would
double tap on explore, which is a heading, with no indication that it would be
an edit box, like there used to be. This is messed up!
