It was really great, the documentary being so complete and interesting, and the audio description was done really well. Besides our se phones we put the app on our ipad. So we listened to the first 4 parts today into tonight and listened to part 5 with the app, and we recorded all 5 parts with the audio description so far, recording on the computer from the ipad. Thank you, Holly, and others that helped some of us when we didn't have the pbs app yet, and Thanks to Duane for letting us know about this really special country music documentary. and what's so wonderful about this too, is finding out that the audio description works with the app even if for some reason the describing doesn't come through on our affiliate channel, but then again it would be great to have the describing come through on our channels. While on a documentary there's enough conversation, that you know hwat it's all about, there's nothing like hearing a brief description of either a picture or what someone is doing, or who's speaking. I'm really looking forward to listening to many other documentaries and shows with the app that are audio described and maybe I'll find some more documentaries to listen to that I heard before, that will be great. It makes me think of the first described movie that I heard, and at that time, that movie happened to be on tv, a week before that, and it was a very visual one, so with it being audio described it made all the difference in the world. Of course with a documentary, the describing won't be quite as extensive for a movie, but is great to hear who's speaking and hear about pictures. Anyway, this will probably be my last message on this thread, but, thanks again, Duane for letting us know about the documentary, and to all those that answered questions for some of us.
