Wayne does the recording so this is how he does it. We do it with a cable, using the headphone jack on the ipad, and depending on the soundcard in your computer, you'll either have to make a cable or get a new cable ready to use to go into the soundcard on your computer. For example using one of the computers we have here, the computer being used has a m audio soundcard. This particular soundcard inputs and out puts are r c a phono jacks, and of course the ipad is a standard 3.5 jack. It's just simple hooking the cable from the ipad to the soundcard. We're using soundforge withaudio input enabled, this is so I could hear it as it's being recorded. It's not totally necessary if you don't have this feature because there's many other ways to do this. If you have more questions just ask.

While on a documentary there's enough conversation, that you know hwat it's all about, there's nothing like hearing a brief description of either a picture or what someone is doing, or who's speaking. I'm really looking forward to listening to many other documentaries and shows with the app that are audio described and maybe I'll find some more documentaries to listen to that I heard before, that will be great. It makes me think of the first described movie that I heard, and at that time, that movie happened to be on tv, a week before that, and it was a very visual one, so with it being audio described it made all the difference in the world. Of course with a documentary, the describing won't be quite as extensive for a movie, but is great to hear who's speaking and hear about pictures.
