I specifically use it while playing dice World. It will allow you to go through the various categories quickly.

Yes, I know you can use the three finger swipe up or down to move through list and pages but, this vertical scrollbar allows you to move through the page much faster then you can do with the three finger flick up or down. I for one like it a lot.
