Hello, For this reason, I do not consider Pages truly accessible. I got a refund after I discovered this problem. I've reported this bug to apple and I really wish that others would as well. This is not the way it should work. You should never need to turn VoiceOver off while using an app. Again, I would consider this a bug. If you look at the different note apps, you don't need to deactivate VO, perform a function, then reactivate it. This is an Apple manufactured app and it shouldn't work like this. They didn't follow there own guidelines that they have published for apps to work properly with VoiceOver.
