Hi,

I have a 10 inch iPad I'm considering resurrecting. I don't know how
old it is. It was probably one of the first, if not the first, to
feature the lightning connector, if that gives you some idea. I'm
guessing this older model is no longer being supported, and if so, how
much functionality would I be able to get out of it? I'm looking for a
good traveling replacement for my larger laptop, which I'm hoping I
can keep home in favor of the lighter tablet. But I don't want to go
through the trouble of resurrecting it if my mileage will be severely
limited. I want to be able to check email, do Internet browsing, read
some RSS feeds, and maybe stream some movies. Thank you in advance for
any tips you can pass my way on whether or not I can breathe new life
into this thing.

Best,

Joe
