I have now run into the same problem as Kathy, except I had to scroll back quite a bit. I was like 2 or 3 days back before the page would not scroll anymore. I tried scrolling up and then back down twice to see if that would force it to load more tweets and that didn’t work. So, I see what Kathy is talking about, but I had to go way way back in my timeline to encounter this.
