In the last week or so, my phone's battery has been behaving extremely oddly.
When not charging, the battery drains very quickly; it can often lose at least
5% in a couple of minutes. Conversely, when I have it plugged in, it charges
very slowly, maybe 1% every five minutes or so. It is an iPhone 7 that is a
little more than 2 years old. I'm not running iOS 13 yet because of the bug
with ending calls and losing speech. I don't think it can be a problem with the
lightning port, because it does charge when plugged in the wall and a computer.
However, if I am doing something like uploading to iCloud, it can actually
drain even while plugged in. When I check the battery health, it is at 84%. Is
it time for a battery replacement?
