If you are on iOS 13, take a good look at the updated Reminders app.
You can set them with Siri, but take some time going through the app's options.
You can get rather creative on setting up reoccurring reminders.
If on iOS 12, the Reminders will still work, or just set reoccurring
appointments on the calendar and set an alarm sound for the time of the event.

Hi,

What is the best app to use for setting recurring reminders. For
example, each week on friday afternoon, I need to file a status report
by 3:00pm, or each day at 11:30 I need to spend half an hour working
on a particular presentation.

I want my phone to alert me, but not have to do anything special to
have the reminder recur after the specified interval.

Any tips would be appreciated,

Donald
