Also, this article How to buy a refurbished iPhone without getting ripped off <https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2019/04/12/not-all-iphones-are-same-these-cost-less-are-better-earth/> from the Washington Post goes into more detail on where to buy refurbished iPhones and what to expect.
I’m pretty sure that Apple’s still selling iPhones 8 and 8 Plus in the certified refurbished section of their store, but you’re going to pay a higher price if you go that rout if you’re on a tighter budget. Other than the Groupon deals I see, which have mixed reviews, where do you look for refurbished iPhones? I got my last two phones from Verizon, but the eamils I get seem to be only pushing trading in older phones for the newest. I’m also thinking this is a good time to consider switching carriers, since my Verizon service has been spotty. Just trying to understand the best strategy. Should I go to the Apple store or do they only sell new models there? Thanks. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
