Richard, I tend to agree with you. My iHome iGT372 used to work well with all sounds coming through it from my iPhone XR, however since iOS 13 only recorded sounds and Siri come through the speaker with all Voice Over sounds continuing to come out of the iPhone’s speaker/earbuds. When I connected the iPhone to my Google Home speaker all sounds came out of the Google speaker, which tells me that the iPhone is likely functioning correctly and that there’s something iHome hasn’t done to keep up with the iOS 13 update. I’ve checked in with iHome Support to see if they have a firmware update for that speaker.
