And what if you are not near your phone for a few minutes? I usually am,but sometimes I might be typing an e-mail on my computer and I have to stopto go dismiss a notification because it's annoying me. That's when it getsirritating. Fortunately, I always turn on do not disturb at night, or itwould probably wake me up doing that kind of thing.

Yes, it's a bit annoying but dismissing a notification banner isn't so hard,just touch near the top left of the screen and then flick down and doubletap.

That is driving me nuts too!

I finally figured out pressing the home button seems to stop it, but still,huge drag that you have to mess with it at all.
