I have my default Pictures folder which is normally under your user name redirected to point to a Pictures folder I have in my OneDrive folder. In iCloud the folder path given for downloading photos is for the iCloud Photos folder in OneDrive\Pictures, but I get two error messages as follows: My Photo Stream can’t be updated.. iCloud Photos can’t update because you don’t have permission to add files to the download folder. Open iCloud to pick a new folder… The upload folder for iCloud Photos is missing.. The upload folder for iCloud Photos has been moved or deleted. I spend quite a bit of time on the phone with a very helpful person from Apple Accessibility who connected to my computer, but she also could not figure this out. I also tried to pick a different folder, I created an iCloud folder just in my Downloads folder, and when I pointed the app to that folder it gave me the same error message.
