I had a pair of Bose wired headphones that were great! When they wore out, I got a pair of Plantronics BackBeat or BeatSense, something like that, that were both wired and bluetooth. They were less expensive than the Bose, about $120, and to my ears, sounded as good. They stopped holding a charge so I just use them as wired headphones. The subjectivity of sound and the wide variance in hearing, means that you should always try before buy, or buy with a place that makes getting a refund easy; like Amazon.
