Hi Mike, That is not normal behavior at all. Which voice are you using? What font size do you have set? You may just need to reboot the phone by holding the power and home buttons for 8 or 10 seconds and then wait for it to come back on. I also have an SE and have not experienced this with Tom Enhanced, which is my primary voice.
