This isn't a reply about the prior case mentioned, but about the Otterbox case. For those in the United States, if you are having trouble finding Otterbox cases at the local Apple Store, as I did a few nights ago, yesterday I went to an AT&T store and they had plenty of cases. I got an Otterbox Defender blue with green trim around the edges. The case was $50, which was more than I paid for the iPhone 4 case I have, but it is a good solid case. The outer cover around the phone is harder plastic and doesn't feel as smooth as the prior case I had for the 4. The iPhone 5 Otterbox case has cut outs with flaps that cover the various ports, like the charger, the mute switch and the headphone jack. At times it has been challenging for me to lift the flap, but it does keep those spots covered very well and protected. The case is a little bulky in my pocket, but I want some bulk so the phone doesn't easily slide out of my pocket without me knowing. The package did come with a belt clip, but I would rather have it in a pocket. I've never really been into belt clips myself. The representative was nice enough to put the phone in the case for me. I'll let him struggle with it, grin. My fiance tells me that the case is a light blue, perhaps neon, and it looks really cool with the green trim around the edges of the screen, back Apple logo and back camera. The sales representative that helped me said they had tons of cases, but not many cables or chargers. It might have also helped that I went to a store on the outskirts of town.
