With the volume down in the volume up and then hitting the power button, that will do a hard reboot. Without a hard reboot is that however, if you just want to shut it down normally just do the volume down and power button and hold that until you hear it say either emergency or whatever it’s gonna say and then you bring it back to where it says Power off and double tap on that and it will be off.
