To be clear, I hope, the adapter will work on any device running iOS 13 for thumb drives, IE, memory sticks, the little ones you can carry in a pocket ... and it will work with the larger external flash drives if the flash drive is independently powered. I am only interested in the little thumb drives so not the external flash drives like you would use to back up a computers hard drive. I got the clarification from Apple. Since I do not have an external hard/flash drive that has its own power source, and only plan to use the smaller thumb drives, this will work for me. Thanks,
