Consumer Cellular offered no trade in for my SE. I didn't think to ask Ray about it with AT&T, and he didn't offer it. I fault myself for not asking though.

If you are in the habit of buying Apple Care, it is $79.00 from Apple, or if you want Apple Care plus theft protection $149.00. I’ve always purchased direct from Apple until my last phone when I had to buy from the carrier, Xfinity, because that was before they offered the program where you could bring a phone to them and get it set up with their service. They didn’t offer Apple Care;; but their own warranty which was ridiculously expensive. I went with Apple this time and since Xfinity wasn’t listed as one of the carriers they work with, I bought the no SIM model. It is all down to personal preference.
