Richard, you're totally right, it was purely a big embarrassing mistake of me sending that message to Duane. The cause of me making that mistake of which I should have been extra careful, with a coincidence on the same day, Mark set up the zoom chat for us, the members of this list and Duane was hosting a zoom chat for our school friends, New york institute for the blind. So as it turns out Duane wrote a message here to the phone list about the zoom chat for the members of this list, and I had the private message from him to me inviting me to our school chat which took place last night. So unfortunately I replied to the wrong message with not taking the second it would have taken to make sure I was replying to the right message. I was in a bit of a hurry since I had a question for one of our friends that was going on the chat, but in times like that you think you're so sure, but that's a lesson to make sure it's the right message. This was awful for this to happen, and understandibly I dreaded going through my email, but yes it was an awful and worst mistake, and this never happened to me before, I'm usually very carefull before I send a message, with a majority of messages I always go down a few lines to see the previous message header. I normally always do that, and it's probably a good thing to do, as in a situation like saturday. If I had done that this never would have happened.
As far as the list turning into a chat list, I think Mark will handle that well as he does with other matters that crop up. I think Mark keeps this list very organized and in check, in handling matters. This list is such a treasure with sharing solutions we figure out, answering questions, and asking for help. Thank you, Mark, and I apologize to everyone for the biggest email mistake I ever made, because that's what it was, purely a mistake, having 2 messages from the same individual, one to this list and the other message, a private message to me. So I hope this thread conversation of a mistaken message could be put to rest, and thank you, Mark, Richard, and everyone for your understanding and listening. I've had my full of these wisecracking comments to me, and some others, and it means even more when it happens to you, it's real to you. So the pattern is when he had his wisecracking, so clever comment to something I wrote, Charlie making his comment was the big brother, the gang leader of sorts. Then Jeff would come along with his message saying he agreed with Charlie, and one or 2 times Don who I don't know in person make some stupid comment. This happened with Charlie and jeff way to many times for me with charlie's wisecracking message and Jeff following that he agrees. It truly is fine if neither one of them think well of me, or even anyone else on the list, but the list isn't the place for this kind of communication to make it plain that 1 or 2 individuals don't think well of some others on the list. It's just going to drive school friends away, when they've had their full of it. It's to the point, I have no desire to visit school, which breaks my heart not to visit if I was ever back there, but I have no desire due to this kind of communication on the list which very much breaks my heart more. I'm not on face book and never had the desire to go on it, though it's great all of you have the nyi group that's even bigger on face book. Donna and Sandy are 2 school friends that don't exactly think well of Charlie's wisecracking messages. I also had my full of Florence who I think resents me and doesn't think well of me, and that's fine if she doesn't think well of me. A number of times she would reply to my messages, and these weren't even messages directed at her where she seemed to misunderstand what I was saying or as if I said something wrong. Sandy mentioned to me that Florence could be that way to school friends at times, remembering when she knew her in school which isn't faulting Florence, it's just her way of communicating and personality. So between these messages from Charlie, Jeff and florence more so it's like someone pinching me all of a sudden, I've jud had my full of it, it's over. It's over, as much as I treasure you, and many other school friends of ours. and I have my special memories which is good enough for me now. Sandy heard from Margaret about Craig having a fall. I hope he's doing better.
