Ok. So what I did is this:

1. I opened Settings
2. I selected, Mail.
3. I selected the Notifications near the top of the screen.

4. I have several accounts, so I selected one of the accounts.
5. It should have a default sound. Double tap on that and you should see a 
collection of text tones and ringtones as selections. I am seeing ones I have 
bought and ones I collected from various sources. Note that these are both 
textures and ringtones.
