Richard, The Belkin Rock Star Alan mentioned only works with lightning earbuds, such as the ones from Apple. It does not work wiht USB headphones. I also have the Belkin splitter and have gotten a lot of use out of it over the last few years. Another option is to get a QI wireless charging pad or station. Then you could charge the phone on a pad and have headphones plugged in at the same time. This assumes you have an iPhone 8/Plus, the new SE an X series or 11 series phone which support wireless charging.
