I had noticed this too, but this in fact has been a bug if you want to call it that for years off and on. The fact is that as long as you know it double tapping first on last name and starting there, then go to first name and other fields becomes second nature and as far as bugs go it’s so minor that for me it’s not worth the time it takes to write an email about it. I am not saying those who find it more annoying shouldn’t write that email, but to me it simply makes no difference if I first enter the first name or the last name.
