Hello all, My new phone is doing some rather irritating things and I haven’t figured out how to tweak the settings to perfection. Here are a few things that I need help with. First, I believe that you can lock the screen orientation and control setting but this may not be true for all iPhones according to the Apple website. Doesn’t list which ones though. That setting is supposed to be in control center. It’s not there. At least voiceover is not reading it to me. How can I keep this phone from going into landscape mode every time I am holding it in my hand and slightly tilted? I know that’s what’s happening because it’s saying landscape mode blah blah blah and it’s not even when I’m watching Netflix. Next, even though I have predictive text off an auto spelling, it’s still doing it. Plus dictation is less accurate than normal. Keeps throwing an extra words that it thinks I am really meaning to put down there. I take that to be the predictive text which is nowhere near as accurate as my own dictation. If I’m speaking slowly that is. Is there a way to get rid of that? And why in the rotor is misspelled words when it’s not listed in the options for things you want to select in the rotor? As for the rotor, it doesn’t seem to stay stuck on the last thing that I used in the rotor. I know for instance when you do text selecting that when you’re finished usually go back to whatever thing is in order before it. Is there anyway to fix it to stay where you left it last? There may be a rule that the phone uses of when to go back and when not to go back but I find it irritating. You’ve heard me say before that I don’t like having to swipe more than necessary.
