I should've compared the dimensions and weight of the two keyboards but it
sounded like the 380 was quite a bit smaller definitely not the size of a
normal PC keyboard. But more like a laptop or even closer to a netbook. One
reviewer said it wouldn't be good for a heavy Typer, and that his fingers were
already cramping within the first hour of his using the keyboard. I already
ordered the 480 and looked at Richard's website and it doesn't look like these
commands to operate voiceover from the keyboard arecomplicated. At any rate
it's done. Might take a little while to get here but I'm on my way. I'm still
irritated that the accessibility features that I most use on my iPhone are not
working as they once did. i'm going to make up my own list of things that do
not work using the rotor, do not work when editing, do not work as they once
did while writing. It is as if I have two cursors now it is if I have two
cursors now. where I was at one point is where the cursor is left even though
I've gone back up to a different part of a message or a body of a message and
voice over is telling me that's where I am but when I try and continue on from
there or edit I'm still back at the bottom of the message where I was before.
Makes no sense to me. any other things I experience using different apps where
I get bounced all over the place I will be specific about as well. i'd really
like to get my hands on an android phone and check out their accessibility
features especially in regard to to Speechspeech recognition. I might even go
refurbish next time around. Friend of mine purchased a very high powered phone
for less than I paid for this SE and doesn't find it anywhere near as quirky as
his old iPhone. He's not visually impaired though. So accessibility features
Ddon't come into play in his use of his new phone.
