Yes, and I just reset my Reminder tone. You say that you get your announcements too? Is there something I can do to get that? I have gone into Reminders and can't find anything that seems to answer my questions.

It came through loud and clear and spoke the text of the reminder. You do know you can set any of your tones, alert tones, classic, or your ringtones as reminder sounds. I have one from the original Adams' Family with the Gong and Lurch saying "you rang?" Very hard to miss. It is a ringtone I created. But, the sounds work for me with any of them.
