OK, if a battery that gets you through a whole day isn’t enough, then you need
to by a battery pack as that is the best battery life of most iPhones.
The plus or Max sized phones will give you more at a significant higher price
point; far more than if you buy even a $100 external battery pack.
You can reduce what runs in the background, and keep the screen display dim,
etc.

The alerts are under Notifications.
At the very bottom of that screen you will find Government Alerts.
Amber alerts, Emergency Alerts, and Public Safety Alerts.
You can toggle any of those on or off.

When the curfew was announced where I live, the public safety alert went off.
I suspect that is where you would get alerts for hurricanes and earthquakes as
well.

Subject: A Couple of SE Questions

Just a couple of things. The one thing I don't care for about the new SE phone
is it doesn't seem to have good battery life. Is there anything I can do to
make the battery life longer? It will hold all day but by the time my day ends
it is pretty low. Also where in settings do I find alerts such as earthquake
alerts as someone mentioned. Thanks!

Carla
