This happens to me every once in a while. Turning the phone off & back on always solves it.

I couldn't find the use home button place so tried just the dictation off and on and that worked. She either says "I am having trouble connecting," or "There is a problem." I can use my bluetooth keyboard and type the message and it sends fine.
