I have no problem with battery drain because I press the side switch or power
button and let it play in the background, which is the suggested approach for
any audio if you don’t want the battery to drain.
You can get 6 or 8 times the battery life if you are listening while the phone
is locked.
If BARD stops playing when you lock the screen, check the BARD app settings
under audio settings and make sure play in background is on.
If it is and it still stops, toggle it off and on and reboot the phone and all
should be well.

Hi all. Many people on this list have talked about listening
!NLS or bookshare books. I’m wondering if you experience high battery drain
and if so, how do you deal with it. I’m guessing that carrying a backup battery
is the best solution, but I wonder if there are battery saving tips that I’m
missing. Thanks much for everyone on this list who give such helpful and
supportive information.
