Instacart's ordering process is very picky about how you fill in fields. I have only one default address, but I still have to choose the address before picking a delivery time.  I then have to choose a delivery option and check the box saying I don't hold Instacart responsible if my food disappears off of my doorstep once it's been delivered.  If I don't check this button, there's a continue button I need to double tap and I'm taken back to the check out form.


All of this is just to say that if all of those fields aren't filled in, the Place Order button will remain dimmed regardless of the payment method.  I learned this the hard way the first time they added that Delivery option field.  I figured if it didn't apply, I could skip it, but that's not how it works.


Also, the field to place a delivery sometime acts like a picker where you need to swipe up to choose a time and sometimes a time and date presents as a button and you need to double tap it to open any delivery options.


Hope this helps some.  I've been using Instacart for nearly three years and they're always tweaking the app, and usually something gets broken or changed.
