I am surely glad that someone else had the same problem. I was going back-and-forth with a friend of mine and he was trying to tell me what to do with the volume and nothing was working. Siri would not answer in the same problem that you were having penny. So I did change the voice I had the American female now I have the American mail and he seems to be working fine.
