One mor quick question, if I may. Once you set the notification to go to the
phone and then go out without the phone, will the notification then go to the
watch?

Hi everyone,

While the default behavior is for notifications to go to your watch instead of
your phone, you can change this for individual apps. The easiest way is to open
Notification Center on your watch. touch a notification that you want to go to
your phone instead. flick up or down until you reach Manage, and double-tap. On
the screen that comes up, choose Turn Off on Apple Watch. Now all notifications
from that app go to your phone instead of your watch.

You can also go to any app in the Watch app on your phone and turn off
notifications to the watch.

As for hourly announcements, you can set your watch to chime or give you haptic
feedback on the hour. To do this, open the Watch app, and go to Clock. You'll
find an option called Chimes; double-tap it to toggle it on or off. Next is a
control for determining whether you hear a bird sound or a bell on the hour.
You also get haptic feedback, which you still get if the watch is muted.

Best,
Anna

I wonder "wy" there isn't an AutomaticAnnouncement of the Time on Apple's
AppleWatch i.e., Hourly etc etc, as it's a TimePiece, Right???

Well, I hate this and intend to send them feedback. Who would have ever

I don’t know exactly why Apple did this, but that is normal behavior.
When your watch is on, you won’t receive notifications from your phone. I
guess they think it is more convenient to get all of them to your watch.

    HOpe this helps,

When my watch is on, I no longer get audible alerts on my phone for
messages, calendar events or other notifications. This is not what I would
think is normal behavior and drives me crazy, since it is causing me to miss
notifications. How in the world do I correct this?
I find that if the watch is turned off, the notifications return to the
phone.Marie
