I too am having trouble with voice over. It is sort of hit and miss and I can usually get it back but it isn’t very reliable. I am trying to get a new phone but that takes a little time. I wonder if there is a problem with voiceover in one of the new updates.

For the second time in as many weeks, my Voice over speech has gone silent. But, when I use Siri and Open the Sound settings or the Audio settings under Voice over, all of a sudden my speech turns back on. Under speech and Audio channels, Headphones seem to be selected, though I have none connected either physically or via Bluetooth. The only reason I can tell the phone is still operating is because I have a braille display connected via Bluetooth. I fixed this once by resetting my phone, but i do not want to do that again. does anyone have any suggestions? This only started after a recent iOS update.
