Well, considering your investment in your two Home Pods, I would agree that the sound quality of music, etc should greatly exceed the sound of an Echo. I primarily use my Echos as an online digital library and enjoy its ability to answer my questions accurately. I think Amazon's system works better and more accurately for this sort of use and considering it came along about three years after Siri, I expect it will just continue to excel over time.
