I think it would be helpful to know what this person expects to use the tablet
for. I have had a few Kindle fire tablet overtime, and there’s just no way in
the world I would want that as an all purpose tablet. I have the latest one
with the extra gig of RAM, which is the HD 8+. If I just had one device, and it
had to be a tablet, I would get an iPad before this thing. You don’t have to
have the pro. You could get the mini, which sometimes shows up on sale, or the
plain old iPad, which is even cheaper than many. Any of them is vastly superior
to the Kindle fire, faster, smoother, better sounding, better apps, such as
voice dream reader, which is way better on iOS than it is on android. If you
wanta media consumption device, and you’re satisfied with the voicees you get
on the Kindle, then it’s OK. But not as an all purpose device in my view.
Better save your money and get something that’s going to last several years and
have several updates.
