Hi Peggy. You will need a Windows computer to do the update. My hope is that they will eventually allow the Orbit Writer to update the way the Orbit Readers do, but that may not be possible since there is no easy way to get a file onto it other than through Windows. They may have to entertain the idea of being able to update via the Mac. I sure hope they do! I do not own a Mac anymore, but I still think people should be able to update regardless of whether they're a Mac or Windows user.
