To be fair to Apple, if you had upgraded straight away, you could have
tried 6 then downgraded whilst the signing window was still open. The
only reason it seems you're unhappy with 6 other than the bugs your
experiencing which nobody seems to be able to duplicate is because a
third party doesn't support it yet. Why on earth this is I have no
idea and if I were you I'd return it for a refund, but hopefully it
will be added soon.
