I've been wondering about Screen Dim. I wonder if I should turn mine to never, and control it myself?

It isn't a big deal for me, being that when I press the power button the phone unlocks & I have access to the dialpad. Donna Hi. I’m not sure how well I like this. I start a phone call with the phone to my ear. I then move it away, and it switches to speaker. After about 5 seconds, Voiceover says “screen dimmed”, then after a couple seconds it locks. Nice thing is it stays on speaker, even if you move it to your ear. If I hit the side button, it unlocks, and I can get back to the earpiece with no problem. Just for your information.
