Now that I have this feature in IOS 14, I'll need to rearrange things so I can hide those apps I don't use very frequently. I think this will be a good feature once I do that. So far, I don't think I like how the library is organizing my apps though. I think if I'm going into the library I'd rather just have an alphabatized list of my apps. If I wanted them organized, according to their function, I'd just do this myself. This is how I do things in Android, and I think I prefer this behavior. After giving it some time, if I still feel this way, I'll go ahead and send Apple my feedback. BTW, is there a setting to change how the library is organized? I apologize, but I haven't looked for one myself yet.
I too noticed the change in page numbering, which I also think is a good thing. I was worried that the widgets were gone, but you can still get to them my flicking right on the first page. Finally, I do think it would be nice to have a gesture where I can bring up the library directly. I may get down to just one home page like Wayne, but in case I have a few pages, it would be nice to be able to get to the library directly. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Gmail > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf > Of Wayne Merritt > Sent: Friday, September 18, 2020 10:02 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Is there an alternative way to access the iOS 14 App library > screen? > > For what it's worth, I have 5 pages of apps.
