I still haven't found the app library.

organizing my apps though. I think if I'm going into the library I'd rather
just have an alphabatized list of my apps. If I wanted them organized,
according to their function, I'd just do this myself. This is how I do things
in Android, and I think I prefer this behavior. After giving it some time, if I
still feel this way, I'll go ahead and send Apple my feedback. BTW, is there a
setting to change how the library is organized? I apologize, but I haven't
looked for one myself yet.

I too noticed the change in page numbering, which I also think is a good thing.
I was worried that the widgets were gone, but you can still get to them my
flicking right on the first page.

Finally, I do think it would be nice to have a gesture where I can bring up the
library directly. I may get down to just one home page like Wayne, but in case
I have a few pages, it would be nice to be able to get to the library directly.

screen?

For what it's worth, I have 5 pages of apps. In iOS 14, I was able to hide
pages 2-
5, so that I have my main home screen of apps. If I swipe
3 fingers left I'm in the App Library. Also, the App Library will use its own
organizational structure to sort your apps into folders. One thing I like about
the
App Library is there's a section near the top of recently installed apps, which
makes it easier to find those apps I just got.
Finally, though it's not directly related to the App Library, I noticed
something
yesterday when exploring. In prior iOS versions, page 2 was the first home
screen of apps, and page 1 was the widgets and notifications screen. In iOS 14,
your home screens actually start on page 1. I'm glad they made this change
since it was confusing when talking about the page numbers at times with
students and others.

Have fun,
Wayne Merritt

Hi Anna,

I heard about that new feature as well as the ability to edit seldom
used individual apps and send them to the App library to clear them
off home screens. But I'm still hoping for an alternative way to
access the App library at some point.

Hi Alan,

You can hide the pages of apps that you don't access very often. That
makes it quicker to get to the library.

Best,

Hi List,

I haven't installed iOS 14 yet but have been reviewing various
podcasts on some of its new features. One of those I'm excited about is the
App library.
The way to access the App library is to go to your last home screen
page and do a 3 finger swipe left. The problem is that I've never
organized my apps into folders and since I have a lot of apps, I have
14 screens of them. I'm hoping the App library will do the organizing
I've not done but I'd like an alternative way to access it. Can those
of you who have already installed iOS 14 tell me if asking Siri to
open the App library will work? If that doesn't, is there an alternative way to
access it?

Thanks in advance for your help
