I am done with crapple!!!! The released a bug that never should’ve got out the
door. You don’t hear notifications while on a call. This is a confirmed bug!
This is the second year in a row where they released something before it is
ready. Yes Android has its issues but at least you can hear the notifications
while on a call. Also in Android 11 you can do multi finger jesters.

Subject: 14 woes

I just caught up on several days of email. Things have been crazy here.

I never, never download an IOS update the day it comes out. I downloaded 14
yesterday and got a very unwelcomed surprise when my phone finished.

My iPhone 8 started up on the screen that appears the first time a new phone is
powered on. That happened to me once before shortly after I got my first
iPhone. I was on hold for almost 2 hours yesterday for an Apple Advisor and
finally Leon from WI answered my call. He very patiently walked me through the
fix and all seems right with the world. I haven’t accessed the media and
purchases screen but I did play with widgets a little. My apps seem to be okay.
I haven’t used all of my apps on the phone since I got 14 however. My phone did
jump around in the messaging and weather apps a bit. Now I know why.

I don’t understand why updates are released before they are ready. Companies
should wait until they have the updates right. Apple messed up this time.

I’ve never heard of DFU mode and I think it’s something I should forget about.
But, I’m going to save the article.

That’s it from here. Goodnight all!

Anne
