Hi Gordon, I never thought of the volume because just occasionally I got normal voice and then it would just go off again. isn’t it funny how a lot of the time it is something so obvious like that. thanks again, Janet

Yeah I've saved the day for many people over the past few years. I don't know why 0 volume is no speech. If you use Alex he's really low, but you can still hear him. But all other voices are silent. If that doesn't work, there's a chance you could have accidentally turned the volume down in the rotor. Turn the rotor and flick up once each time you turn it. If that rotor volume is set to 0, you wont have speech unless you're using Alex for some reason. If the rotor volume is all the way down you'll eventually get speech when turning it and flicking up once for each time you turn it. A lot of people have done this before by mistake.
