I had no trouble continuing to write in Fleksy while the chime was going on. I could hear VoiceOver just fine. I wonder if you have your sounds set to a very high volume that is drowning out VoiceOver? The only place Big Ben has interfered with anything is what I wrote earlier about streaming a radio station. I have my sound volume set to 45%. I was working in Fleksy when I got cut out but I was told to flick the mute switch and it works but it's a pain. The developer wrote back to me to say he was fixing the adjustment to be separate for the quarter hour and the hour so it doesn't turn off if you want only the hour.
