If you are using your iPhone or iPad, install the app. You can sign up for the free Zoom account if you want, but isn't necessary. I think if you do, your name will show up as a participant. In either case, if you have the zoom app, when you activate the link in the invite, it will offer to open zoom, and poof, you will be connected and it will likely default to having your video on so they can see you, and I would suspect your audio muted until they want the attendees to be able to say something. In any case, the app works great with VoiceOver.
You will fine along the bottom edge of the screen from right to left, More, Participants, video, and audio, then I think leave meeting, etc. I would suggest just getting familiar with the app after downloading it, but it should work fairly well with the defaults. You may have to give permission for it to access the camera and microphone and to "join audio," or "use internet audio" it has been a long time since I first set it up.
