Both would be nice, but Apple always does what Apple does, they will release a feature when they are good and ready and for the most part it will then be very well done. Who brought Touch Id to phones, it was Apple and the same goes for Face Id. Yes, some Android phones may offer both, but I wouldn't be surprised that when Apple does offer both it may very well work just a bit better than on most other phones. I am surprised nobody at all mentioned the fact that two products which got talked up before and which were expected did not make it all, Apple Studio headset and Apple Air Tags.
