If I could have touch or facial ID, I'd take touch; I think it is more secure.
Actually, I think it extremely unlikely that someone would hold up my phone and
snatch it, once it was on, but there is that likelihood with facial, where with
touch, I'd really be in trouble if someone force my finger, and they wouldn't
know which to use, because I did not use my forefinger, when I had fingerprint.
I guess they'd know if they'd seen me with my phone. Anyway, it does seem maybe
a smidgen more secure to have touch rather than facial ID.

For my part, I just find touch ID to be a bit more convenient then face ID.
There are just those times when I don't need to hold the phone up to my face,
like when I'm lying down or sitting at a table. My hand is already on the
phone, since I have to touch the screen to interact with it, so it would be no
big deal to use touch ID. With face ID though, I have to remember to then hold
it up to my face, and since I didn't do it immediately, I may have to do it
more then once or just resort to entering my PIN. I don't hate face ID, and I
wouldn't avoid buying a phone just because it didn't have touch ID, but with
all things being equal, I'd go with a phone that supported touch ID.
