Hi folks, I have never owned a smart speaker. For this reason, excuse my question. It may sound naïve to many of you. If one wants to get the Home Pod Mini, or any other smart speaker for that matter, but this person does not want to subscribe to any music streaming service, what would be the benefits of owning such a smart speaker? I understand that one can use it to airplay YouTube music or radio stations via the iPhone Bluetooth connection. Apart from that, what one can use the speaker as a standalone besides SIRI or Alexa? Is it worth for someone who has no intention to spend money on streaming services to buy a smart speaker like the Home Pod Mini? Apple mentioned that the home pod will be accessible via voice over. I do not know if this means it will be controlled via the voice over of the iPhone, or does it have voice over built into it. Does anyone know? Regards,
